Regional engagement is important to us

Social responsibility for the region and enthusiastic Thüringer HC fans in our company prompted us to take on this commitment.

The women's handball team of the Thüringer HC from Bad Langensalza is 7-time German champion and 3-time German cup winner and furthermore the most successful women's handball club in Germany since the reunification.

We look forward as a regional partner to support the women of the Thüringer HC.

Don’t look away…help

Wherever we live and work, we have always had open eyes for the concerns and problems of our region. To us, solidarity shows in active help and to gladly take the opportunity to live up to our responsibility and commitment. We support the work of numerous non-profit organisations in our region through donations of goods and money. Traditionally, the Schweizer family supports socially weak and indigent people through a foodbank called Tafel. The Tafel is a non-profit charitable organisation that distributes food to the needy and have been active in Germany since 1993. A good third of the recipients are children and adolescents.

Schweizer Sauerkonserven supports the humedica e.V. with generous donations in kind and thus promotes work and help in disaster areas worldwide.

For children, the situation in refugee camps is particularly difficult: there is a lack of opportunities for activity and perspective.

The humanica e.V. is strongly involved at the Horn of Africa and in long-term projects such as in Ethiopia, Brazil or Haiti.
